FAQ’s & Pricing

  • Dry ice cleaning & blasting uses compressed air to fire pellets of solid CO₂ at a surface. The pellets freeze, fracture and lift away dirt, grease, underseal, rust scale and contaminants without abrasion or moisture. It’s ideal for restoring vehicle underbodies, chassis components and engine bays without damaging paint, wiring, coatings or finishes.

  • Pricing varies depending on the vehicle and the scope of work, so we operate on an hourly rate of $350 + GST. As a guide:

    • Parts & components: from $350 + GST

    • Engine Bays and small jobs: from $700 + GST

    • Minor Underbody: from $1750 + GST

    • Major Underbody + Wheel Arches: from $2800 + GST

To help us provide a more accurate estimate, please complete our contact form and include photos of the vehicles underbody. This allows us to assess the job properly and advise on pricing.

  • Think of it like applying a wax or ceramic coating to the underside of your car. An underbody coating is a protective layer designed to prevent rust, seal exposed surfaces and shield against moisture, road debris and contaminants. It also helps preserve chassis components, wheel arches and metalwork long-term, and can reduce noise and vibration.

Please visit our Gallery page to see examples of these coatings in real applications.

We offer a range of coatings to suit different vehicles and applications:

    • Satin Black Rust-Proof Coating - Endrust UB302B

    • Ceramic 2K Clear Coat - Endrust PSX Clear

Note: Older vehicles, high-kilometre cars or off-road vehicles that require dry ice blasting for surface preparation will incur separate preparation costs, which we’ll discuss with you beforehand.

  • Yes, we offer surface rust repair, treatment and long-term protection. For more serious corrosion, we also have an in-house fabricator who can carry out cutting, repair and replacement of affected sections.

Dry ice cleaning is excellent for removing scale, old coatings and surface rust buildup, but it’s not a cure on its own. In many cases, further mechanical abrasion is required before treatment.

We don’t rely solely on basic rust converters — instead, we use a converter–primer–sealer system before overcoating to ensure proper adhesion, sealing and long-term protection.

  • Timeframes depend on the scope of the work. Smaller jobs can take just a couple of days, while larger restoration or coating projects may run up to two weeks. Most vehicles are typically with us for around one week.
